Holding Memories

The idea of Botanical Press was formed after watching my Nan with dementia, say goodbye to her house and much loved garden. I realised that I could capture memories; from gardens, weddings, and funerals so that they need not leave them behind.

From originally starting with just plaster cast tiles i have recently taken my love clay and have started to create a range of functional art pieces.

I am so excited to offer this, and look forward to working with you to create art that will last a life time.

I am a qualified Art teacher, with a BA degree in photography and media arts. I have taken courses in sculpture which has fuelled my passion for the medium of clay. I love the feel of it and how it forgives and brings things to life.

Since the birth of my four children, I have stopped teaching and focused on creating sculptures, and growing Botanical Press, whilst running workshops.

 

I am excited to share my passion for nature and sculpture; bringing them together within Botanical Press.
